A black body con dress is a must have for every closet.  I have worn mine for so many different occasions.  Dressed up, dressed down, all different shoes and jackets; it’s so versatile!

Today I paired it with a long grey vest.  I had been eye balling the Rag & Bone grey vest at Nordstrom for about a month.  I waited to long and it sold out.  Darn that procrastination!!  I searched everywhere and couldn’t find it.  So I got this one from Topshop.  Which gives a similar look for way less.  As I was putting this post together last night I checked one more time and found the vest from Rag & Bone I wanted.  It’s on a big sale with an extra 20% off today!!  I think I will be ordering :)

Being a stay at home Mom and working on my blog from home, I can easily get stuck in a leggings and t-shirt phase and not leave the house for days (especially during the winter!).  I will drop my kids off at school and come straight home to work on my blog, do some laundry… before I know it it’s time to pick them up.  But lately I’ve been forcing myself to get out of my leggings and leave the house.

I feel so cliche wearing a comfy chunky sweater and going to my local coffee shop.  But it fit my mood on this day of a high of 10 degrees.  I love the details of the sleeve and the back is fun too!  I wanted to feel a little dressier, so I put on these snake print pumps.  These pumps can take an average outfit and transform it!  And the price couldn’t be better!!

I put on some sparkly jewelry to brighten up our dreary weather.  I just ordered all these pieces and I had no idea how gorgeous they would be in person!!!  These bracelets are to die!  I’m already thinking of how many outfits I can wear them with!  And when I got this necklace and ring I freaked!  They are so sparkly and beautiful!

John’s birthday was this weekend and I love celebrating birthdays!!  I love making it a long weekend celebration.  We started Friday night with an amazing dinner at home.  Saturday I go up early, while he slept in, and made breakfast.  Then just John and I went out for dinner & a movie that night.  On Sunday, John’s family came over.  I made his favorite cake and we had a delicious dinner.  It was so nice to celebrate John’s birthday!!

For my outfit, I love all the texture and details!  My top has a great sparkle detail and the faux fur coat is awesome!  I put on some sparkly jewelry and a hot pink bag to make it super fun!!  Throw off the coat and it’s a perfect girls night out.  And it will transition perfectly into spring!
