Lorac Pro Matte Palette Review

I have been loving the Lorac Pro Matte Palette.  I talked about it in my recent favorites video and used it in a birthday party makeup look last month.  I got it about 6 weeks ago and it’s been used almost every day.  The matte shadows are very creamy and blend very easily.  The colors are not to cool or to warm, they are juuuuust right (a little Goldilock, haha).  The pink mauve and burgundy colors are perfect for fall!  And the price is awesome, 8 shadows for $29… that’s hard to beat at this quality.

Birthday Party Makeup Look

This month Ulta Beauty turns 25!  She’s all grown up! :)  This inspired me to share a makeup look I like to wear to a birthday party or any fun celebration.

The key to an awesome birthday party makeup look is for it to be fun.  When I walk into a party I want my makeup to say that I came to have a good time!!  Nothing says more fun to me than a great pink lip and glowing highlight!  I’m obsessed with this Urban Decay ‘Anarchy’ lip and of course the Becca Highlight!

Having my lip and highlight being the main focus, I wear more of a neutral eyeshadow look with smudged out black eyeliner.  I’m wearing Stila Kitten eyeshadow on the lid to add just a little sparkle to the eyes, and Lorac Pro Matte Palette to blend and add dimension.  This palette is amazing!  Great matte shadow colors and very easy to blend.

Then apply several coats of mascara or your favorite lashes.  I spray Urban Decay makeup setting spray to keep my makeup looking fresh all night long.

I’m using Big Sexy Hair ‘flip it over’ to give my hair tons of body and volume.  Flirty hair to match my rockin’ pink lip.  I spray one of my favorite perfumes and I’m ready to go party!
