I absolutely love wearing jeans and a tee with a fun jacket.  Jeans and a tee is so simple.  It’s fun to play it up with different accessories.  Add a different jacket or shoes, and your outfit it completely different.  I am a super girly girl, but deep down I want to be comfortable in a t-shirt.

I’m wearing a medium in this tee (I normally wear a small).  I wanted it to fit looser, more oversized.

I am completely obsessed with these coated ripped jeans!!!  They are so comfortable they feel like pajamas.  I love the rips and the raw edge hem.  When I first put them on they were very snug.  But they stretched out half a size after wearing them a few hours.  So make sure they fit snug at first because they will stretch.

I am wearing this faux fur jacket in an US8, which is 1 size bigger than I wear in Topshop tops.  I wanted an oversized look for this jacket.  It is very soft and comfy to wear!  It’s even prettier in person.  I got so many compliments on it!

I have spent the last couple days thinking about 2016.  The biggest highlights, the biggest failures.  I like to celebrate the highlights and learn lessons from my failures.  Both are equally as important to look at.

For my family, 2016 was a year of change.  We moved across the country, I went from being a stay at home Mom to working full time, John went from working full time to being a stay at home Dad, our kids started a new school, Caleb started full day kindergarten, my Mom got married! It’s been a big year!

I love a year full of change and growth!  It keeps things exciting and fun!  I expect 2017 to be just as fun.  There are so many exciting things planned for 2017 that I can’t wait to share with you!  And I know there will always be the unexpected fun things that come up!  2017 here we come!
