Because I work from home it’s easy to get involved in my work that I get glued to my computer for hours, while my kids will be off playing with their toys.  On my work days it’s a juggling act all day long to get my work done and pay attention to my children.  It’s so important to me to always put them #1 and to set time aside for quality time even when I have work to get done.  This can mean something as small as 5 minutes to pour a glass of apple juice and listen to a story.  Or turning everything off for an hour to do an activity they want to do.

On Monday I had been working all morning.  It looked too beautiful outside to sit inside all day and work.  John, Caleb and I went to the park and walked around.  It was nice to get out and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air.  I turned my phone off and focused on spending quality time with Caleb.

Family quality time is the most important to me!  We do a lot of movie nights, “pajama walks”, games and always dinner together every night.  I never miss an opportunity if one of my kids wants to talk to me about something.  I want to hear all of their stories and answer any serious questions.  They are only this small for a blink.  I don’t want to miss anything.
