So much has happened over the last month, time has just flown by.  I can’t believe it’s the end of June already!  I’ve had many fun and exciting things happen recently.  First being we got a new addition to our family, a Shih Tzu puppy we named Phoebe.

She has been so much fun!  She is the fluffiest cutest puppy ever!  I flew down to Tampa to get her from a breeder.  My sister got Phoebe’s brother and my brother and his family got Phoebe’s cousin.  We all picked up our puppies on the same day.  It was so cute seeing them play together.  Both of my kids just adore her!

Another new and exciting adventure that has happened is I made my first YouTube video.  I have been thinking about the idea and wanting to do it for months.  I of course was really nervous and felt awkward.  Filming myself is something that is completely foreign to me.  But after doing it I really enjoyed it and plan on making more videos for you in the future.  You can check out my video here.

I had dinner with Kendra Scott last week.  They are preparing to open their first store in Chicago on Michigan Ave.  I’m so excited!  I also got to see their full fall line and it is gorgeous!  It comes out in July and I can’t wait for you guys to see it!

I just got eyeshadows from Makeup Geek and they are amazing!  I can’t get enough of them!  They have beautiful colors and they blend so easily.  And if you like sparkly or glittery eyeshadows you have to try their foiled shadows.  Amazing!  I played around with these fun colors one day and I love how it turned out.

I used to wear watches constantly and then I got out of the habit of it.  Recently I got this Daniel Wellington watch and a white/gold Kate Spade watch.  I love having a watch on again.

Summer is finally here and that means fun sunglasses!  I can’t get enough of these!  I also bought these black and white polka dot ones too.

I posted this on Instagram and this jacket sold out so fast!  I have been checking every day to see if it comes back in stock.  If it does I will let you know. :)  I have searched and found this pink leather jacket that is similar.  If you love the style I’m wearing it does come in black.

Summer came and my hair went!  I have been feeling the urge to cut my hair for a while.  My extra long hair has been so much work lately.  And the ends were so dry and damaged, they needed to go.  My sister gave me the push and I went for it.  I am loving it so much!  This hair style is so much easier to take care of, plus I love the more flirty look of it.

We haven’t had to many really hot days.  But the other day it was in the 90’s and we took the kids to the fair.  This romper was perfect for standing in the heat.

These sandals were sold out everywhere and I was so excited when they came back in stock!  They also come in black.  So cute and comfy!  I love the studded details.  And the neutral shade is beautiful!

I love tops like this. They are just as easy to throw on as a t-shirt but so much cuter.  I am completely in love with the gorgeous lilac color of this top.  It’s a nice soft cotton and it very airy, perfect for warm days with shorts.

This has been my go to “daytime glam” look.  I also have been wearing it out to dinner.  It feels so fresh for summer yet also glamorous.  They key is to do your normal daytime look, add lashes and a great lip.  It can be a soft pink like I’m wearing, a deep red, a coral, anything.
