For All My Working Ladies

Leith Body Con Dress (on sale, $32), also love this | White Vest (similar) | BCBGeneration Pumps | Givenchy Bag, similar for less | Celine Sunglasses | Earrings | Bracelet Set

I wore this dress in Vegas with lace up sandals.  I love this dress so much I wanted to be able to wear it more than just a night out.  I don’t go out that much on the weekend (I’m usually at home in leggings with my family).  So I styled it to make it daytime appropriate.

I of course could put on a denim jacket and booties (I did and it looked really cute!).  But I started to think about all my friends who go to work at an office every day and what their needs are for wardrobe.  You are sitting at a desk most of the day, so the outfit needs to be comfortable.  But you want to look professional when going to meetings.  I kept all this in mind when styling this look.

This dress is extremely comfortable.  You can sit and move in it all day.  I paired a long vest with it to cover up the sexiness of the dress and give it a professional look.  The turquoise pumps add some fun while still being professional.  If colorful pumps are outside your comfort zone, you can of course wear black or nude pumps.

  1. I love this! I dress professionally every day so would love more of these looks. Was there a ‘similar’ vest to the Vince Camuto that you wanted to link? The link isn’t showing when i click ‘similar’ – thought maybe there was a cheaper option you liked. Thanks! SGB

    1. It says similar because it’s not the exact vest I am wearing. I purchased mine several months ago and is now sold out. But this one looks identical.

  2. Your legs have been looking so bronze this summer! Can you let us fellow fair ladies know what you’re using?
