We had some of our coldest days yet last week and it felt amazing to wear some of my sweaters. This sweater is a staple and comes in tons of colors, plus it’s so soft! I love the v-neck, you can wear it off one shoulder for a more casual look like I did. Or it fits great worn up on both shoulders (like normal :) ). This sweater does run big, I sized down to an XS for a less oversized fit. But as you can see I still have plenty of room. This sweater is currently 40% off. I wouldn’t wait, this brand always goes back up to full price very quickly.

I can’t believe this is my first post since Christmas! My 2017 was so crazy busy, especially the last 6 months. I finished up all my work the Friday before Christmas. And took all the time from Christmas thru New Year’s off. It was amazing! Everyone needs time off from work to truly disconnect! I loved spending quality time with my family!! We slept in late, baked cookies, watched movies. Those 10 days were the best stay-cation ever!

On January 1st I hit the ground running at home. I organized my pantry, cleaned out the garage and sorted thru Sofia and Caleb’s closet. Just when I was ready to get back to work with shooting photos, John injured his knee in jiu jitsu. We made a trip to the ER for an X-Ray. Luckily just a really bad sprain. He could barely walk for several days. Since he is my photographer we had to postpone our photoshoots to next weekend. He is up and walking better today.

I have been working on a few posts while at home. I want to incorporate fitness more. It’s become such a big part of my life. I would love to share what I am doing. If there is anything specific you want to see let me know.

Also if you want to see posts on beauty, home, kids, marriage, balancing work & family, etc let me know. I would love to start sharing more about my life than just fashion. (although I do Loooove fashion!). I realize that there is a lot more that takes up the hours in my day than just a cute outfit. I would love to start talking about those things if you all are interested :)
