Dressed Up for the Holidays

Last Sunday we went to the theatre to see ‘The Nutcracker’. It was so much fun! I feel so blessed that I get to give my kids experiences like this. It was such a special night, one that they will remember forever.

I knew I wanted us all dressed up, coordinating without matching. I didn’t start thinking about our outfits until a week before (eek!). I had purchased this dress about a month ago knowing I would wear it for something during the holidays. So I decided to go with all black & white, with a pop of red.

It can be difficult coordinating an entire family. I recommend sticking with a color scheme or theme. With that in mind you can pick out pieces that reflect each persons individuality. This way everyone feel comfortable with what they are wearing while still having a cohesive look.

Lace Trim Sweater

This miniskirt is super comfy and flattering! I typically size up 1 size in Topshop bottoms (to accommodate my hips and butt). But this skirt I am wearing my normal size in Topshop, which is a US6. There is a ton of stretch in the skirt and it perfect for curvy girls.

I am wearing my OTK boots again! :) I wear them constantly with almost every outfit. If you can splurge and get the Stuart Weitzman boots I really suggest it. You will wear them all the time and they quality, fit and comfort is amazing! If your budget doesn’t work for the price of the Stuart’s, the ones from Steve Madden are almost an exact dupe. They will give you the same look for a fraction of the price.

I can not believe Christmas is only 10 days away!!! With only 10 days left, I wanted to share my favorite gift guide: Splurge on Her. Of course this is my favorite one right?! Who doesn’t want to be pampered and spoiled on Christmas day!

Cold Shoulder Sweater with a Sparkle

I love this sweater so much! I love the cold shoulder detail. I love that it is long enough to wear with leggings!!! I love the loose turtleneck and how cozy it is. It was really hard to pick up in photos, but there is a sequin on the sweater that gives a settle sparkle when you move. It’s so pretty!

Love that we are finally having some cooler days here and there so I can wear some sweaters! It wouldn’t feel like the holidays without a cozy sweater! :)
