John and I just celebrated 13 years of marriage!  I can’t believe it!  With our move and all of the changes this summer I feel like we have barely spent any time together.  To celebrate our anniversary we spent a weekend away at the Don CeSar in St. Pete.  It was much needed time together!

In 13 years we have had many ups and downs, and not in the cliche greeting card way.  There has been moments where I didn’t know if we would make it thru.

Life can get so busy and it’s so easy to put your marriage on the back burner.  One thing I have learned is you have to make time for each other.  Quality time is so important!  Make time to talk and spend time just focused on each other.  Turn off the phones and just laugh together!

We have officially lived in Tampa for a little more than 5 weeks.  With so much whirlwind change in the last 6 weeks I feel like my brain is just now coming out of a fog.  The kids are settling nicely into their new school.  They both have amazing teachers and are making friends.

Our house is starting to look like a home, even though I still have so much more to do.  And we are having fun exploring Tampa.  We love trying a different restaurant every weekend or driving down a street we don’t know.  This city has so much unique charm and character.  It’s fun to get out and learn about the city I know call home!

Dresses & sneakers are all the thing right now.  And my feet are loving this trend!  My favorite way to wear this is with a shorter shift dress or fit & flare dress.  Pair it with sneakers, not athletic shoes.  I love this because I can still be girly and wear a dress.  And I also am comfortable to run around all day.

For cooler weather, this outfit also looks cute with a jean jacket.  I especially love crop jean jackets.  I normally would wear bracelets.  But I was extremely busy this day doing a lot of errands, cleaning and moving things around.  I didn’t want my bracelets to get in my way.  If you aren’t doing all those things, I would do some bracelets to make the outfit look more complete.
