Having a figure that is curvy and bigger on bottom, I love anything that shows off my waist.  So much of fall’s attire can add bulk and size, but this jacket is extremely figure flattering.  It shows off my waist while also showing my curves.  I also love the roll tab sleeves and the comfortable fit.  Throw on with any pair of jeans and you have an effortlessly fashionable outfit.  Beats wearing a hoodie!  And I feel much cuter picking up my kids or running my errands.

This time of year is so beautiful!  The warm sunny days, and the cooler nights is a nice change in weather.  I am thankful for the cooler nights because it is giving me a chance to wear some of my fall purchases.  This poncho is incredibly soft and so cozy!  If faux leather leggings and over the knee boots isn’t your thing, this poncho also looks very cute over a dress or with jeans.

I am loving all the camo out right now.  Camo can take a simple outfit and make it way more awesome.  Don’t be afraid to mix it with other patterns and textures, wear camo just like a neutral.  I also love this camo dress and these camo jeans.  And we can’t talk about camo without mentioning this Valentino camo handbag!

I hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend.  Mine was on the low key side, which was really nice.  I love sleeping in, hanging out with my family, taking the day slow and doing whatever we feel like.  I did hit the mall Sunday afternoon.  I shopped some of the sales, got tons of stuff for my kids at the GAP for fall during their 40% off everything sale.

The main reason for going to the mall was to find a perfect white t-shirt.  I recently realized I don’t have a basic white tee in my closet.  I really don’t have many tees at all in my closet.  And the few that I do have are all fitted.  I went on the hunt for something a little looser and in white.

Come to find out, it’s very difficult to find a white tee that is soft and isn’t see thru.  I went into almost every store at Old Orchard mall and spent several hours searching for my perfect white tee.  I finally found one at Madewell (also available at Nordstrom).  I tried one on and was instantly in love!  I love the relaxed slub knit fit.  And they are 100% cotton, which is really hard to find at this price point.  I bought 5 colors and have been living in them.  This tee does have a relaxed fit, if you want it to fit more fitted I recommend ordering 1 size down.
