There is something so classic about leopard print and red. An outfit like this is so simple to put together, but makes such a fun statement. I love wearing all black, it’s simple and easy. It also creates the perfect blank canvas for adding color and print in my accessories.

This adorable handbag from Rebecca Minkoff came out just a couple weeks ago. As soon as I saw the color, the quilting, the style… I had to have it! It was love at first site! For being a charming little crossbody, it really does have a lot of room inside. Pink is the “it” color for spring. And this bag fits the bill perfectly! This bag would make a perfect Valentine’s Day present… hint hint all husbands and boyfriends ;)
What are your plans for the big Valentine’s Day weekend? John and I finally made our plans. Tomorrow we are first going shopping for each other’s gifts. After many years of marriage we find it more fun to shop together for one another’s gifts. It gives us a chance to spend time together and we always have a ton of fun shopping together. Then after shopping we are going out for sushi. There is a great sushi restaurant just around the corner from our house and it’s so hard to get a reservation. I’ve always loved Valentine’s Day. February can be kind of a boring month, aren’t we all just sitting around waiting for spring? But then Valentine’s day comes right in the middle filled with flowers and chocolates. That’s enough to brighten my month! It’s a day that forces me to pause from everything I am doing and focus on the one I love. John and I usually spend our Valentine’s Day more on the simple side. We go out to a nice, romantic dinner. Maybe a movie after dinner, or we might come home and rent a movie. No matter what we do, I always enjoy getting dressed up and going out with him. We always have fun no matter what we do.
