This is from New Year’s Eve. My most favorite way to celebrate is to stay home in comfy clothes surrounded by people I love. This year was really fun! I had my whole family over, we played games, ate, drank and celebrated! I haven’t celebrated a New Year’s with my family in over 10 years, so it was really special!

John’s birthday is January 9th. Right after the holidays…. everyone is always tired but we always rally and make sure he has a great birthday! Whenever anyone has a birthday it is an entire weekend long celebration. Saturday started off with me and the kids bringing John breakfast in bed. Then John and I went to an afternoon movie. While my family set up his present in the house, which was a surprise! So when we came back from the movie he was totally surprised! So fun!! Then dinner with the family. Sunday I made an enormous breakfast of french toast, strawberries, whipped cream and more, his favorite. Such a fun weekend! I love birthdays so much :)

Faux furs are my absolute favorite! I could have an entire closet of them. You can put on a simple jeans & tee, add a faux fur and you are instantly fabulous! This one I’m wearing might be sold out. But I shared all my favorite faux fur jackets in this blog post.
I got this cape months ago and have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to wear it. A couple weeks ago I was in LA and they were having very cold weather (for LA). Which made it perfect weather to wear it! Obsessed with the faux fur collar, again with the faux fur :)
Living in Tampa means we get to go to the Gasparilla parade!!!!!!! SO. MUCH. FUN.
