Friday’s and weekends are all about casual and comfort. Don’t let these pants fool you, they are sweatpants! I felt like dressing them up just a bit by putting on some heels. This outfit would also be cute with some great flats like these or these. I have been living in these pants! For everyone in warmer climates they also look cute with a fitted tank or tee and sandals.

I’m trying to figure out what I want to do with this long weekend. My life has been so crazy all summer I might just lay around and get some much needed R&R. But I also know the cold weather is coming. I should probably get out and enjoy the nice weather while we still have it. What to do? Oh, the struggle is real… LOL! Every year when Labor Day Weekend hits it’s always a mix of happy/sad for me. I love summer so much that I never want it to end. But I also love fall and everything surrounding the fall season. I love sweaters, boots, scarves and a hot latte in my hand. All the leaves changing colors and the crisp air is so beautiful. I can’t wait to bring you some awesome fall fashion! This is one of my favorite outfits to wear; skinny jeans, easy shirt, a great pair of shoes and a bag big enough to carry everything in. An outfit like this can take me from day to night, from casual errands to cocktails. On Wednesdays I wear PINK :)

Yesterday I went to Nordstrom Rack to take my usual look around to see if anything new came in that I can’t live without. I was looking at shoes when I heard Sofia yell from 3 aisles over “Mooooommmmmy! You NEED these shoes!” She comes running with these pink pair of pumps… in my size! Such an amazing moment! She has already become an awesome shopping partner. What a find! I wish I could find a pair of these for all of you! Shades of Blue

Blue is such a fantastic color! It looks good on everyone and it’s so easy to wear. Right now there are so many gorgeous shades of blue to choose from. Blue can be worn as a neutral, just like black or brown; blue goes with everything. As you thinking about how to transition your wardrobe from late summer into fall, go for some blues.

This weekend my husband and I were able to get away to celebrate our 11 year anniversary. We slept late, ate good food, shopped and laughed all weekend; doesn’t get better than that! We had such a nice time!

Sofia started kindergarten this week. It is going to be a huge adjustment going from preschool to full day kindergarten. I’m much more nervous about all of this than she is. She is so excited and ready to be in kindergarten. Even though I miss her all day, it has given me more time to spend with Caleb. He is my little cuddly sweetheart. Today on our agenda we are going out for breakfast, then I’m hitting the gym and possibly some grocery shopping thrown in the mix. I love having my little guy with me everywhere I go.
